At SONIAS, you can express yourself through a myriad of dance styles from Ballroom & Latin dancing to Bollywood to Dance 'n' Fitness.

Studio Policies...

DRESS CODE:

At Sonias we want you to enjoy your dance experience as much as possible. Therefore, we request that you wear appropriate clothing depending on the class you are taking. Here are a few suggestions...

• Ballroom: Wear casual or formal clothes and leather soled shoes. No tennis or rubber bottom shoes please. If possible, we encourage you to bring an extra pair of shoes to be used during the class.  For parties, we recommend that you wear dressy or formal clothes.

• Bollywood: Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely. For children classes, we recommend wearing pants. No Skirts please.

• Fitness: Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely. We suggest that hair should be tied back and away from the face.

 

PAYMENT POLICY:

• Make checks payable to SONIA'S DANCE RHYTHM. Please put the student's name on the check to insure proper credit to your account.

• Payment is due at the first class. A late fee will be assessed to your account if payment is not received by the due date.

• There is a $25.00 charge for non-sufficient funds.

• There will be no refunds for missed classes.  Make-up classes will be at the discretion of the instructor. 

• All payments are non-refundable and may be adjusted to future purchases.

 

GENERAL POLICY :

• Please arrive on time to avoid disruption to the class. 

• Please respect our learning environment.  We encourage everyone to keep the lobby area distraction free during classes.  

• Please keep your personal belongings safely. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, articles of clothing, jewelry, or other personal property.

• Please arrive on time to pick up and drop off your child. In case of an emergency, please call us in advance.

• Chewing gum in Class or on Studio Premises is not permitted.

• No food or drinks (except plastic water containers with lids) are allowed in the dance studio. Water bottles and soda are available on sale.

• The Bulletin Board in the lobby will have updated information every month.  Please take time to read this information carefully.

• We ask that illness be the only reason for missed class.  It is necessary to have a good attendance in order to progress and develop as a dancer.  If you are going to be absent, please notify the Studio at least 24 hours in advance.  

• Please be respectful to the studio staff, instructor and students in the Studio. Any disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.  

• We reserve the right to cancel any class at any time due to insufficient enrollment for that particular time.  If this occurs, a new time will be arranged for you.

• In case of the studio closing due to bad weather such as snow and ice, the class will be rescheduled.

• Please notify our staff of any medical condition that may prevent the student from performing dance or fitness instruction.
